The use of 3D printers offers a multitude of advantages. It is an innovative, resource-efficient and sustainable manufacturing process that saves up to 70% waste compared to conventional manufacturing processes such as milling. This is because no blank has to be used, but a prototype is assembled layer by layer.
MMB uses this fast, cost-effective and largely automated process for the production of demonstration or production samples by simply importing a CAD file into the printer software, defining the parameters manually and the corresponding component is produced.
For example, the layer thickness of the material, the thickness of the wall and floor surfaces, the internal structure of the parts or whether a so-called brim should be used can be set.
This can be, for example, a fixture for a component with a complex surface structure, a complete prototype part or even an assembly system consisting of various components.
We have the latest equipment for 3D printing, both plastic-based and for metallic sintering processes, and can therefore provide you with clear solutions quickly and easily.

In the plastic area of 3D printing, we work with the FDM process, for which we have several printers at our disposal, including one from the company Markforged.
Here we can offer the following materials for your request:
– PETG (installation space: 250 x 210 x 210)
– Markforged Onyx (nylon-carbon mixture) (installation space: 320 x 132 x 148)

With our EOS SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) system, which has an installation space of 250 x 250 x 325 mm (X, Y, Z), we can offer you components with the tool steel of 1.2709.
